Vincent Raymond Vega, 86, died October 31, 2013. He was born November 13, 1926 in Canton, Ohio to the late Vincent and Josephine Vega.

A member of Wadsworth Methodist Church, American Legion, NRA, Moose, and Model Airplane Association, Vincent was a 32nd Degree Mason and a Canton Repository Ex-newspaper boy. He proudly served his country in the US Army during WWII and the Korean Conflict.

He is survived by his children Terry Vega, Glen Vega, Carol Hawkey and Polly Vega Martin; 10 grandchildren and siblings Louise (Don) Reed, Joe (Trudy) Vega, Richard (Francis) Vega, Gloria (Paul) Kohl, Norma (Tony) Capocci and Cathy (Steve) Szasz.

A memorial service will be held Friday, November 8th at 11 AM at Hilliard-Rospert Funeral Home,. 174 N. Lyman Street in Wadsworth. Inurnment will follow at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Wadsworth VFW Honor Guard.
