Obituary
Donald R Webb “Don”, devoted spouse of Carol (Popovic) for 32 years passed away after a short illness on August 29, 2023.
Don was a lifelong Chicago Cubs fan and an avid fisherman. Over the last 10 years Don and Carol split their time between their Medina Ohio home and their Florida home, building great friendships and memories. Don was the co-chair at the Bocci Club at Hawthorn of Leesburg. You could always find him by any body of water fishing or boating out watching baseball, preferably the Cubs. Some of his family’s favorite precious memories of Don are the time spent with him fishing and boating. During the summer months he enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, whether it’s going to see a movie, eating at Moe’s Southwestern Grill or watching his grandson, Donnie hit the ball out of the park during his Miracle League games. He had a special way about him, that he made friends wherever he went.
He is survived by his spouse Carol Webb (Popovic), sons Don Webb of Arizona, Chris Bradley of Louisiana, his 2 daughters, Nancy and Norma, brother Mack McCubins (Jan) of North Carolina, granddaughter Nicole Bradley (Rebekah), grandson Donnie Bradley, sister-in-law Loretta (Popovic) Kreiger (Bruce) of Medina Ohio, Brother-in-law Dwight Popovic (Patty) of Florida, Brother-in-law Joe Popovic (Peggy) of Norwalk, nieces Jennifer Kreiger and Heather McDermott (Kreiger) of Medina, nephew Clay McCubins of North Carolina, sister-in-law Barb Popovic (Bob) of Creston, Kitty (George) Popovic of Ohio and many more nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents, four sisters, son Kenny Webb, stepdaughter Carrie Bradley, loving in-laws George and Eleanor Popovic, brother-in-laws George Popovic and Bob Popovic.
Per Don’s wishes there will be no visitation or services.
