Edmond “Pug” Weber, III, 78 of Wadsworth, Ohio passed away on March 10, 2022, in Melbourne, Florida with his family by his side after a long, courageous battle with cancer. Pug was born in Wadsworth, Ohio on September 14, 1943, to the late Edmond Louis Weber, Jr., and Irene M. (nee Poder) Weber.

Pug was a very loving and devoted husband, father, and grandfather. He married his high school sweetheart, Sharyn Snyder, with whom he shared 61 years of marriage. He was an electrical contractor for 40 years. Pug was a very hard worker and was skilled in many trades. Pug worked tirelessly on every project that he became involved with. He was a good athlete and loved sports. He enjoyed competing and playing basketball, baseball, tennis, and golf. He was his sons’ Little League baseball coach for many years. Pug had a great sense of humor and was a gifted storyteller. He loved to share memories of his childhood and life with his family and friends. All of his surviving loved ones will miss and cherish all of the great stories that he shared. His greatest joy was spending time with his family. He loved family parties, vacations, and camping trips. Pug really enjoyed supporting and encouraging his kids and grandkids in all of their undertakings. He will be missed deeply, and his memory will always be cherished. During their retired years, Pug and Sharyn enjoyed spending winters in their home in Melbourne Beach, Florida, where he leaves behind many special friends.

In addition to his parents, Pug was preceded in death by his infant brother, Charles. He is survived by his wife, Sharyn (nee Snyder) Weber; children, Michael (Kelly) Weber of Wadsworth, Dana (Steve) Noffsinger of Hudson, and Ted (Kathy) Weber of Powell; grandchildren, Ben (Chrissy) Weber, Lee Weber, Myranda (Alex) Kroft, Cody Long (Samantha Vallish), John Noffsinger, Sasha Noffsinger, Allison (Bryce) Dickson, and Alexandra (Scott) Moore; great grandchildren, Corbin Weber, Emmett Kroft and Gracelyn Noffsinger; brother, John (Patricia) Weber and sister, Lourene Allison; special family friend, Kaylee Shearer; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Cremation has taken place. The family will receive friends on Saturday April 9, 2022, at 3:00PM located at First Christian Church, 116 E. Boyer St., Wadsworth, Ohio 44281, followed by a memorial service at 4:00PM. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Esophageal Cancer Awareness Assoc., Inc. (ecaware.org) or the Esophageal Cancer Action Network (ecan.org).
