Obituary
Harry Franklin Weirath, 93, died January 31, 2017. He was born August 18, 1923 to the late Charles and Ada Weirath in Akron.
Harry was the owner and operator of Isaly’s Dairy in Wadsworth, then later became Weirath’s Restaurant, which was a staple in downtown Wadsworth for nearly 50 years. He loved Wadsworth and was a mainstay of the downtown for most of his life. He was an avid golfer and enjoyed traveling to Biloxi, Mississippi every year for 30 years.
Preceded in death by his brothers Charles, William, and Robert, he is survived by his wife of 72 years, Lois; children Marlene (Larry) Bagwell of Port Clinton, Ohio, Harry (Barbara) Weirath of Richfield, Ohio and Kristine (Ron) Nagy of Doylestown, Ohio; grandchildren Eric (Jill) Bagwell of Massillon, Ohio, Matthew (Wes Adams) Weirath of Seattle, Washington and Elizabeth (Alex) Long of Fredericksburg, Virginia and great-grandchildren Alex, Cooper and Elena Bagwell and McKenna, Alexander, Owen and Scarlett Long.
The family will receive friends Monday 4 to 6 PM at Hilliard-Rospert Funeral Home, 174 N. Lyman Street in Wadsworth, where Pastor Tom Ledford will conduct the service at 6 PM. Private burial will be at Woodlawn Cemetery.
