Virginia C. Welty, 99, of Wadsworth passed away Saturday, June 23, 2012. Virginia was born April 26, 1913 to the late Arthur and Daisy Johnson. Preceded in death by her husband of 63 years Samuel Welty. He was the love of her life and they shared a love affair for their entire marriage. She is survived by her children Kay Lyn (David) Brown, Gary Welty and Sondra Welty. Grandchildren: Becky and Mark Earnest, Kathi Thompson, JoEllen Link, Kerry Wears and Greg Welty. 5 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great grandchild and special sister, Darlene Cordrey,. We will miss her quick wit and good humor. The family will receive friends 5-7 PM Tuesday at the Hilliard-Rospert Funeral Home, 174 N. Lyman St. Wadsworth, where funeral services will be conducted 10 AM Wednesday with Rev. James Singleton officiating. Internment Woodlawn Cemetery, Wadsworth.
