Obituary
On July 3, 2019, Naomi Dawn Wiesen went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus, and to be rejoined in heaven with her husband, John R. Wiesen, who preceded her 31 years ago. She was born March 9, 1930 in Cleveland , Ohio to the late Clifford and Laura Barger.
She was raised in Cleveland and Naomi married John on November 22, 1952. Naomi worked as an Agricultural Inspector for the Ohio Department of Agriculture and the USDA. She was a loving mother and grandmother, best known for her sense of humor, humility, work ethic and unending compassion and care for her family. In more recent years, she could be found with a huge smile as she spent time with her great-grandchildren. Naomi was an avid Cleveland Indians Fan who loved to attend games with her grandchildren, listen to ballgames on the radio and watch the Tribe on television.
She was preceded in death by her children Larry Wiesen, John Wiesen Jr., and Rene Culliver, brothers Jackie Wiesen, Bill Wiesen, and Jim Wiesen, and sister; Laura Miller.
Survived by her, brother Danny Barger, daughters Maryann Miller of Holmesville and Debra (Martin) Gallvan of Florence, AZ ,son Jim (Mary) Chapek of Albuquerque, NM and 11 Grandchildren, Mike (Alexis) Miller of Wooster, Laura Miller of Holmesville, Christy (Danny) Trussell of Albuquerque, NM., David (Amy) Chapek of Albuquerque, NM Tracy (John) Guerriero of Berwick, PA Laurie (Sam) Adrian of Wadsworth, Jesse (Jessica) Keene of Colorado, Chris (Wendy) Culliver of Beavercreek, Tim (Clarene) Culliver of Hillsboro, James Wiesen of Wadsworth, Donnie (Arlene) Wiesen of Wadsworth, and 20 Great Grandchildren
A private graveside service will be held for immediate family. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to your local Humane Society.
