William A. “Bill” Freeman, 83, of Sterling passed away Tuesday, July 8, 2014. He was born September 1, 1930 in Copley to the late Lester and Frances Alice Freeman. Mr. Freeman was a veteran of the U.S. Navy, was retired from Firestone Tire & Rubber Co. after 34 years of service and was a member of the American Legion.
He was preceded in death by his sister Naomi Ebert.
Bill is survived by his wife Mildred with whom he celebrated 62 years of marriage, two sons: Daniel (Sue) Freeman and Kenneth Freeman. There are his grandchildren Megan (Ethan) Percer, Matt Freeman and one brother Daniel Freeman also surviving.
The family will receive friends 6-8pm, Friday July 18 at the Hilliard-Rospert Funeral Home, 174 N. Lyman St. Wadsworth.
Graveside services will be conducted at 11am, Friday July 25 at Greenlawn Memorial Park with Pastor Robert Combs officiating.
