William F. Bowers, 89 of Wadsworth passed away November 21, 2014. Born in 1925 to Oscar and June Bowers in Canaan, Ohio.

William was a long time resident of Wadsworth and Aurora. He graduated From Wadsworth High School, was a WWII Veteran, was active in his Church and Community. He retired as a successful
Executive in the Rubber Industry.

Preceded in death by parents, sister Sara J. Bowers and granddaughter Melissa L. Garlough.

Survived by his wife of 67 years Mary ( Campbell) Bowers. They were married in 1947 at the Wadsworth United Methodist Church) , children Judith Ratcliff, Bruce Bowers, Paul Bowers and Philip Bowers, 4 grandchildren and 1 great granddaughter.

Family will receive friends Wednesday 11:30am-1:00pm at the Hilliard Rospert Funeral Home 174 N. Lyman St. Wadsworth where funeral services will be conducted at 1pm with Dr. William Truby officiating. Interment will be at Woodlawn Cemetery.
