Eva Mary Wilmoth, 97, widow of Rev. Adrian Wilmoth, passed away peacefully with family by her side at her home in Norton, Ohio on Thursday, September 6, 2012. She was born in Berlin, PA on April 15th, 1915 to Josephine (Filipas) and Mike Marchick. Eva was one of three sisters and four brothers growing up in the coal mining town of Shaft, PA. Mrs. Wilmoth worked after high school in 1935 at Bendix-Westinghouse in Detroit, MI. She later married Adrian Wilmoth on January 1, 1942 in Elyria, OH. Eva was a wife, mother, grandmother, and friend to all who knew and loved her. Eva will be remembered as a pastors’ wife and for the impact she had on the lives of so many. Eva was preceded in death by her infant daughter and her late husband, Rev. Adrian Wilmoth (1987), sisters; Annie and Teresa, brothers; Steve, Frank, George and Joe. Mrs. Wilmoth has been supported for many years thanks to the loving kindness and care received from her son Charles Wilmoth and Jenny Lake of Norton, OH. She is also survived by her other son, William Wilmoth of Raleigh, NC, grand daughters; Tami Paul of Orrville, OH., Carla (Kenny) Hingos of Raleigh, NC and Dawn (Justin) Wilmoth-Neville of Clayton, NC. She also leaves behind to cherish her memory two great-grandchildren; Ella and Aaron Hingos. The family would like to express thanks to the staff at Grace Hospice, especially Karen and Margo for their care and kindness to Eva and their friendship to our family. Graveside services will be conducted Monday, September 10 at 11:30 AM at Woodlawn Cemetery with Pastor Bob Combs officiating.
