Obituary
Witschey, Edith Louella 86, of Springboro, Ohio, passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 26, 2012 at Otterbein of Springboro while under the care of Acclaim Hospice of Dayton. Edith was born to the late Fred and Blanche (Beck) Swain on February 10, 1926 in Barberton, Ohio. Edith married her late husband, Donald George Witschey, on September 6, 1947 in Wadsworth, Ohio. Edith is survived by her children, John (Bernadette) of Deland, FL, Robert (Patricia) of Wadsworth, OH, Paula Braun (David) of Irvine, CA and Marian Henrich (Todd) of Springboro, OH,. Edith is also survived by her sister, Virginia Knox, brother, Ike Swain, and 12 grandchildren: Jason Witschey, Amie Venezia, Mary Kallai, Erin Witschey, Robert Witschey, Jessie Witschey, Tricia Witschey, Elizabeth Braun, James “Bud” Braun, Joseph Henrich, Matthew Henrich and Andrew Henrich, six great-grandchildren, Jamie Venezia, Austin Venezia, Peyton Witschey, Shelby Witschey, Elizabeth Witschey, and Noah Kallai, who filled her life with joy. Edith is preceded in death by her brothers: Arthur, Milford, and Melvin. Visitation will be Friday, August 31 from 6 pm to 8 pm at the Hilliard-Rospert Funeral Home, 174 North Lyman St., Wadsworth, Ohio. A Mass of Christian burial will take place at Sacred Heart Church in Wadsworth, Ohio at 9:30 AM on Saturday, September 1.
