Obituary
Florence L. Wohlford, 98, of Wadsworth died Sunday, May 30, 2010.
Born February 19, 1912 in Franklin, PA to the late Howard and Anna (Rice) Roxbury. Florence was a member of the Wadsworth United Methodist Church where she was a member of the Aldergate Class and United Methodist Womens Circle. She was also a member of the Girl Scouts of America for 65 years. She was one of the original members of the Wadsworth Band Boosters.
Florence was preceded in death by her husband Jacob Lee, her sister Betty Daley, her brothers-in-law; Arnold Hohensee, Warren Fresh, and Jim Daley, and sons-in-law Andy Arvay and Jerry Pate.
She is survived by her daughters; Marjorie (Gary) Easterday of Maryland, Dorothy Arvay of Wadsworth, and Ellen Pate of Myrtle Beach, sisters Gertrude Hohensee of Cuyahoga Falls and Ina Fresh of Akron, grandchildren; Michael Easterday, Chris Thoma, Craig (Deb) Easterday, Jeff Kilmer, John Pate, Mark (Elaine) Easterday, Tim (Anna) Pate, Laura Narduzzi, Beth (Mike) Incorvati, and Bill Arvay. She is also survived by 17 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends 5-7 PM Friday at the Hilliard-Rospert Funeral Home, 174 N. Lyman St. Wadsworth where funeral services will be conducted 7 PM. Committal services will be conducted 10:30 AM Saturday at Northlawn Memorial Gardens, 4441 State Rd., Peninsula, OH 44264 (330-929-2884).
