Winifred “Winnie” Pauline Wolf, 90, of Wadsworth, passed away Friday, November 27, 2015. She was born July 8, 1925, in Wadsworth to the late Lee and Myrtle Thompson.
Mrs. Wolf was a member of Seville Presbyterian Church and a graduate of Wadsworth High School Class of 1943. Winnie was a great baker of pies, known for her fish fries and hot sauce and enjoyed having people at her home. Her greatest love was her family.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, Clyde; her daughter, Diana McClelland; and granddaughter, Emily Ann.

Winnie is survived by her children: Peggy (David) Snyder of Sharon, Twp.; Ray (Dawn) Wolf; and Janie (David) Parish, all of Wadsworth. There are 6 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, her brothers and sisters-in-law Bill (Ethel) Thompson, Robert (Barbara) Thompson, Richard (Pauline) Thompson, Harold (Donna) Thompson and a host of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted 11am Wednesday at First Christian Church, 116 E. Boyer St., Wadsworth with Rev. James L. Singleton officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to services from 10-11am on Wednesday at the church.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made in Winnie’s name to First Christian Church.
