Margaret J. Woods, 99, died January 8, 2014. She was born January 7, 1915 in Barberton to the late Louis and Anna Dietry.

A lifetime area resident, she was an active member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church and Wadsworth Senior Center. She loved to sew, fish and play cards.

Preceded in death by her husband Paul in 1998; brothers Donald, Theodore, Joe and Edward and sisters Eleanor Grandon, Cecilia Mullaney and Agnes Todd; she is survived by her daughter Corrine (Larry) Stimely; son William (Jacqueline) Woods; grandchildren Larry, Jr. and Noel Stimely, Paula (Bill) Gilliard, Michael Stimely, Michelle (Rob) Katterheinrich and Melanie Woods; great-grandchildren Colleen (Jonathan) Gilliard, Michael Porter, Noah Katterheinrich and Olivia Rose Woods; numerous nieces and nephews and many friends.

The family would like to thank the staff at Hospice of Medina County for their extraordinary care for Margaret.

The family will receive friends Sunday 2-6 PM at Hilliard-Rospert Funeral Home, 174 N. Lyman Street in Wadsworth. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday 10 AM at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Fr. Mike Ausperk celebrant. Interment at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens.
