Ann C. Wright, 86, of Wadsworth, passed away Thursday, December 22, 2011. She was born October 20, 1925 in Akron to the late Alexander and Louise Slovisky. Mrs. Wright was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church where she was a very active volunteer. In her early years she was employed as a secretary at the B.F. Goodrich Co.
She was a member of the Garden Club of Wadsworth, volunteered at Wadsworth Rittman Hospital and Meals on Wheels, was an avid bridge player and loved going to the casinos.
She loved traveling with her husband and enjoyed spending the winters in Florida after retirement.
She was preceded in death by 12 siblings.
Ann is survived by her loving husband Gerald with whom she celebrated 54 years of marriage and three children and their spouses who blessed them with 8 grandchildren:
Kim and Brad Steward of Wadsworth and their son Lance, Kathy and John “Buck” Budinscak of Wadsworth and their children: Zachary, Lisa and Cory, Kevin and Joy Wright of Medina and their children Madelynn, Lillian, Jenna and Tristan.
There are many nieces nephews and dear friends also surviving.
The family will receive friends 4-7PM, Monday at the Hilliard-Rospert Funeral Home, 174 N. Lyman St. Wadsworth. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11:00 AM Tuesday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 272 Broad St., Wadsworth with Fr. Joseph L. Labak, Celebrant. Interment will be in Woodlawn Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
