Vicki Louise Zsinko, 61, of Wadsworth, went to be with the lord Monday, May 31, 2010 at Akron City Hospital while surrounded by her loving family.
Born November 27, 1949 in Elyria, OH, raised in Elyria, OH and later moved to Wadsworth. Her profession was The Deputy Registrar of the Wadsworth License Bureau but her passion was family and friends. To those who knew her she provided all with the building blocks for being a great daughter/son, mother/father, spouse, friend and mentor.
Vicki’s time with us was spent living life to the fullest and encouraging all of those who crossed her path to do the same. She had a passion for people that facilitated an everlasting impact that will keep her spirit ever present with those who knew her. She was the first to help anyone out of a pothole they fell in while providing an ear of support and a warm embrace when warranted. She was the consummate entertainer and the greatest cooker. Always known for living in the moment, pulling the best out of the people around her all while filling a room with indescribable warmth. The lives of all those she touched have been unimaginably blessed.
If asked, she would say that her greatest passion was being a mother and grandmother. She lived for creating memorable moments of time with her family until the end. She was the bond that drew her family close and the beacon of light that will shine on. She was and always will be the inspiration for all to achieve more and be successful. She was overwhelmingly loved and she will be greatly missed but never forgotten. She was the daughter of Virgil and Phyllis Shuster, her father who she preceded in death. She is survived by her mother Phyllis Shuster and loving children Heather (Todd) McMillen, Traci (Jason) Friedt, Bill (Kim) Springer and Allison Zsinko. She was blessed with five adoring grandchildren: Zach, Bryanna, Matt, Mason and Luke.
For those who would like to celebrate her life, a memorial service will be conducted 11 AM Friday at the Hilliard-Rospert Funeral Home, 174 N. Lyman St. Wadsworth, with Rev. Edward Kropa officiating. The family will receive friends Thursday from 4-6 & 7-9 PM.
